The Marinette & Oconto Counties Literacy Council was founded in 2012 by a group of literacy advocates.
Janet Glime has served as the face and president of the organization since.
Throughout the years, the M&O Literacy Council has trained over 30 tutors.
Students who have gone through Literacy Council are now small business owners,
United States Citizens, and GED graduates.
What is the time commitment?
After training, your time commitment is usually a learning session once a week.
How do I get trained?

Where would we meet?
Tutors teach in a public space like a local library.
Whom do I teach?
Adults interested in improving their English language skills.
How many weeks in a session?
Tutors and students set up an objective and plan accordingly. We ask for a 6 month commitment.
